Historical Background

Architects Pretzinger and Musselman of Dayton, Ohio, built this Spanish Colonial style house in 1927 for Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Iseminger. The roof is covered in red clay Spanish tiles and features two eyebrow windows. The front door is made of wrought iron and glass. The interior retains many original fixtures such as oak and mahogany doors and woodwork, a marble staircase, Rookwood Pottery fireplaces and bathrooms, and the windows of stained and leaded glass.
