PRISM’s president, Gabe Schoenlein, hands off their $5k donation to SORG vice president, Andy Seibert.
On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, the South Main Street Historic Neighborhood Association (PRISM) donated $5,000 to the Sorg Opera Revitalization Group (SORG). Since their stewardship began in 2012, the South Main neighborhood has been very pleased with the way SORG has managed both the maintenance/restoration of the building and the volume and quality of the performance arts featured inside of it. “SORG’s ownership and planned improvements, made possible in part by donations like this, are a game changer,” says SORG vice president Andy Seibert, “amazing things are in store at the Sorg Opera House.” The donation is firmly aligned with PRISM’s mission of promoting improvements, preservation and security in order to provide for a higher quality of life for South Main residents. Furthermore, this contribution will enrich the lives of people in Middletown and beyond by securing the future of a beautiful, historic venue for aspiring artists, performers, and patrons alike.
